HACIA University (HACIA U) provides training for construction industry professionals to broaden their skills, earn certifications, build their networks and increase their career opportunities. In 2020, HACIA U launched the Pre-Apprenticeship Program focusing on Construction Labor, Electrical and Carpentry. This program was designed in partnership with St. Augustine’s Institute for Workforce Education to prepare individuals for entrance into apprenticeship programs in the construction trades & for future employment opportunities. Three students who participated from the program were hired by HACIA members, Advanced Contractors Solutions Inc.
