Yazmin Huerta is the Membership Manager at HACIA. In this role, Yazmin supports member engagement and retention, connecting small and minority-owned businesses with the advocacy, programs, and resources they need to grow.

Yazmin is a nonprofit professional with several years of experience leading complex projects and initiatives that build constituent engagement. Before joining HACIA, she served as Senior Manager, Career Services at the Evans Scholars Foundation, where she supported Evans Scholars in their career development and connected them with professional opportunities.

Yazmin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago. She is a proud Chicago native, born and raised in Little Village. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, yoga, trying new strength & conditioning fitness classes, and spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Nimzy and Booker.
