With over 27 years working in the event planning industry in the Chicago land area for the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) along with working with the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce and Alderman George Cardenas 12th Ward for special events, I have a proven record of achievement in fundraising, marketing, donor relations, event management, grant-writing, and sales when it comes to planning major Chicago land events.  
 
I have managed HACIA's Annual Banquet featuring Chicago Mayors, distinguished guests, and elected officials for over 27 years. Along with the Banquet, I coordinate Golf Outings, Networking events, Membership Monthly Meetings, Panel Discussion and Networking and Scholarship Foundation Fundraisers. 
 
I know how to execute planning on tight budgets with increased revenue, vendor negotiation, fetching sponsorship's up to $50K and managing up to 2,000 guests for big events for the Construction and political industry.  
 
I have key relationships with top businesses, such as Hilton Hotel, East Bank Club, Silver Lakes Country Club, Indian Lakes Country Club, Galleria Marchetti, etc. 
 
Along with events management, I have a proven track record in office management from preparing board meeting materials, coordinating speakers to present at Monthly HACIA Membership Meetings, executing monthly email newsletters to overseeing all marketing materials for events. I'm very well-rounded and hardworking when it comes to organization management. I have led committees: Banquet, Contractors, Scholarship Foundation, Golf, Small Business and Professional Services Committees and I am currently Assistant to the Executive Director at HACIA.
