I began my career in 2006 directly after graduating college. I began working within the University of Illinois @ Chicago’s college of dentistry campus. Here I learned the incredible need and value for how we could better serve the community through dedicated service. I took what I learned here and transitioned to the Human Resource department in 2007. I then began working within the Human Resources department. While here, I was able gain a clearer insight on the programs The university offered such as job training, internships, and community outreach within the local communities. 

Soon after I began my management career within the hospitality industry working as a communications manager for the Hyatt Hotel in 2012. I managed the department and made implementations in both the technology and servicing aspect to better impact guest stay & services. In 2016, I was promoted to housekeeping manager to assist with extensive projects, & quality of service. In 2018, I partnered with Hyatt corporate office to initiate a chapter of “Latino” Inclusivity & diversity. Then Covid-19 struck the world! 

After pivoting I took a close to home position at Crown Mortgage Company managing their Servicing & Collections department. I was able to reduce the collections by 55% ytd prior, while working with governmental grants assisting homeowners economically affected by covid-19. 

Entering 2023, I had the opportunity of transitioning from finance to the HACIA organization and the rest is history.
