Neida Cintron is a seasoned professional known for her dedication, commitment, and quality in every role she undertakes. Currently serving as the Events Manager for HACIA, Neida plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the organization’s events. HACIA, a membership-based organization founded in 1979 in Chicago, aims to ensure the equitable participation of its members in the construction industry while promoting growth, quality of work, professionalism, and integrity. It stands as one of the largest organizations in the Midwest for construction contractors, professional services, and related suppliers.
In her role as Events Manager, Neida has been instrumental in the success of HACIA’s Annual Banquet, a premier industry event that attracts over 1,000 attendees, including Chicago’s mayors, elected officials, executives from major construction and professional services firms, and representatives from local, county, and state government agencies. Over the past 29 years, Neida has overseen and coordinated the banquet’s programming, including event fundraising, sales, distinguished guests, and overall profitability.
Beyond the annual banquet, Neida coordinates HACIA’s Annual Golf Outings, Networking Events, Monthly Membership Meetings, Panel Discussion Events, and the HACIA Scholarship Foundation Fundraising Events. Before becoming the Events Manager, Neida served as Executive Assistant, supporting HACIA’s last six Executive Directors and ensuring they had the necessary support to achieve the organization’s mission and goals. Throughout her career, Neida has excelled in building strong relationships with HACIA’s members, donors, sponsors, and vendors, fostering successful partnerships and continued support for HACIA’s events and programs.
Born and raised in Chicago, Neida is a second-generation Puerto Rican who grew up on the city’s Northwest Side, where she currently resides. She attended Roosevelt High School and, in her free time, enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering at her church.
