Lynette Correa-Velez is the Workforce Development Program Manager at HACIA. As a trained Career Coach, she has over 20 years of professional experience in career, workforce, and program development in non-profits, higher education, and small business. She has her Ed.D. training in Equity in Education and Human Resource Development (on-pause) and M.Ed.in e-Learning for Workplace Learning and Training, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and her B.S. is in Business and Human Resource Management with a Minor in Psychology from Lesley University located in her home state of Massachusetts.
Lynette has earned 21 awards and honors in her career for her passion in co-empowering over 30K+ individuals in the U.S. and globally. She volunteers as an inaugural Associate Board of Director at Chicago Innovation and member of the Equal Pay Chicago Committee at Women Employed. As a daughter to a retired Master Welder, she lives in the South Side of Chicago with her family.
