Ivette Trevino serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Membership Engagement at HACIA, a construction advocacy and membership organization working to ensure equality in construction. In this role, Ivette creates impact by engaging with partners, members, and government leaders to provide advocacy, programs, and resources to small and minority-owned businesses.
Ivette previously served as Executive Director of the Little Village Chamber of Commerce (LVCC), which represents Chicago’s second-largest business corridor, home to over 1,000 businesses that contribute more than $900 million to the state’s economy and serve a population of over 85,000 residents. She also played a pivotal role in the growth of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, holding key positions such as Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy and Director of the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery: Small Business Assistance Program, where she supported small businesses with grants and technical assistance.
Ivette is a lifelong learner who continues to invest in her leadership skills by completing programs like the Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation, Leadership Academy, the Mujeres de HACE program at the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), and the Metropolitan Leadership Institute. Ivette received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Public Policy and is expected to complete her MBA at National Louis University’s Graduate School of Business and Leadership in April of 2025.
Ivette is a Chicago native and grew up playing basketball on the southwest side. She currently resides in West Lawn with her husband and children, where they remain active in sports like baseball and basketball.
