Carolyn Caballero is the creative director of Bella Dia Designs LLC, a design firm based in the Chicagoland area for over 15 years. Bella Dia specializes in web development, signage, and graphic design. Carolyn is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago and a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with PACE/UCP, a certified Minority and Woman Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) with Cook County and a certified BEP with the State of Illinois.
Bella Dia has served a variety of clients across various industries which include: Cook County Government, Chicago Housing Authority, Illinois Tollway Technical Assistance, Illinois International Port District, and Northwestern University. Some recent projects include the branding and signage for the Illinois State University Bone Student Center and Chicago’s Invest/South West Initiative – Discover Call Center.
Carolyn has been a member of HACIA for over 6 years where she currently serves as co-chair of the Membership Committee and assists with the scholarship and banquet committees. She’s had the recent pleasure of helping to launch Mujeres de HACIA, a working group to help advance HACIA female business owners in their endeavors. She wants to continue the mission of HACIA by helping to clear the paths of opportunity and promote business development and advocacy for women and minority owned businesses.
Carolyn was awarded HACIA’s Member of the Year in 2017 and was featured in Negocios Now’s Who’s Who edition. She is also a member of the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce and is a mother to 3 terrific sons.
