HACIASEF Construction Industry Scholarship

The HACIA Scholarship & Education Foundation (HACIASEF) awards up to $50,000 in scholarships to ten deserving students studying in the construction field every year. Since its inception, HACIASEF has awarded over $665,500 in scholarships to over 266 students pursuing careers in engineering, architecture, or construction technology. Application Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a construction industry focused degree at a 4 year university in the midwest
  • Must provide original school transcripts
  • Must provide a detailed resume
  • Must provide a reference letter
  • Must submit a construction industry interest essay

You will need to submit original school transcripts, a detailed resume, a reference letter, and a construction industry interest essay. When you submit you contact form through the button above, these will be the files you need.

The majors we are currently accepting are engineering, architecture, or construction technology. If you do not fall under one of these majors but you believe there is an overlap with the construction industry, we encourage you to reach out to discuss.

Currently, we are only accepting 4 year universities in Illinois and its neighboring states in the midwest. Recipients must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a construction industry related field. You will need to be physically present at HACIA’s Annual Banquet to receive the award.

Preference is made for new recipients but previous awardees can be considered if space is available.
