Job Responsibilities
● Project Planning:
– Understands the contracts, drawings, and specifications for the clients and subcontractors
– Assists Senior Superintendent with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
– Examine the drawings for constructability.
● Site Management:
– Oversees daily operations on the construction site, including coordinating the work of subcontractors, managing material deliveries, and ensuring proper site setup.
– Maintains effective and harmonious working relationships on-site.
– Assists the Project Managers in the development of the on-site procedures.
– Establishes field office location and layout, temporary utilities, and staging areas.
– Coordinates the activities of the inspection agencies.
● Safety Compliance:
– Chairs weekly coordination meetings and monthly safety meetings.
– Enforces safety protocols on the site, conducting safety meetings, and addressing any safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment.
● Quality Control:
– Implements quality control procedures and safety and security practices.
– Regularly inspects work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards, identifies any issues and addresses them promptly.
– Inspects the activities of subcontractors, suppliers and GMA’s labor and material.
● Schedule Management:
– Monitors project progress against the established schedule, identifies potential delays, and takes corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
– Develops, refines, and updates the Project Schedule
● Budget Management:
– Tracks project costs, identifies cost variances, and works to stay within the allocated budget.
● Communication:
– Maintains clear communication with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and project managers, providing regular progress updates.
● Documentation:
– Maintains detailed project documentation including daily reports, inspection reports, and change orders.
● Subcontractor Management
– Verifies each subcontractor has completed its contractual requirements.
– Reviews the subcontractors daily reports
Training and Education
● Strong leadership and organizational skills

● Thorough understanding of construction methods, blueprints, and specifications
● Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
● Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
● Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
