Mr. Sergio Munoz has over 38 years of experience in the environmental remediation and industrial hygiene fields. He was a co-founder of Tecnica Environmental Services back in 1987 and has served as the president and CEO of the organization since inception. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout his career, Sergio has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, successfully overseen diverse teams and driving complex projects to completion on time and within budget.

Currently, Sergio oversees two division at Tecnica Environmental Services, the soil remediation/site prep as well as the asbestos/lead/mold remediation. Under his guidance, his team has consistently exceeded performance targets, leading to significant cost savings and improved client satisfaction.

Sergio holds various licenses with the Illinois Department of Public Health (ACM/LBP) as well as with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Professional Engineer Intern #061-023320).

In addition to his professional pursuits, Sergio is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and mentoring emerging professionals in the field. Outside of work, Sergio enjoys biking, running, skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family.
