About HACIA:
Founded in 1979 as a non-profit 501 (c) (6) organization, the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) is a construction advocacy, training, and membership organization. With over 300 members, HACIA provides a range of technical and supportive services to assist minority, women, veteran, and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/V/DBE) in addition to workforce development training in the construction and professional services industries. Postion Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives that promote the CEJA program and HACIA’s overall operations. This role will focus primarily on content creation, social media management, copy, and digital marketing efforts to enhance program visibility and engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager while collaborating closely with the CEJA Lead and the rest of the CEJA team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Develop blog posts and marketing content that highlight CEJA program initiatives, events, and success stories.
- Develop marketing recruitment strategies for the CEJA Incubator program
- Manage the CEJA training modules on HACIA’s website· Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva and/or Photoshop.
- Assist with paid advertising efforts, including social media and digital campaigns.
- Generate marketing reports to track engagement, performance, and program reach.
- Manage social media scheduling through HeyOrca and create engaging posts tailored to CEJA audiences.
- Generate marketing reports to track engagement, performance, and program reach.
- Assist in the design, copy, and distribution of newsletters via Constant Contact.
- Support paid advertising efforts across Google and social media platforms.
- Maintain and update content on HACIA’s WordPress website.
- Provide general marketing assistance as needed to support HACIA’s events and initiatives.
- Lead photo and video content creation, whether shot in-house or in collaboration with external photographers and videographers.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, contracts, and Requests for Proposal. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to write and create unique copy for a broad audience.

Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and marketing software tools (social media scheduling tools, EMS, graphic design platforms, etc).
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Primarily will work in an office setting and may require travel throughout the city and greater Chicagoland area. The work environment is generally quiet to moderate.
Physical Demands:
