As the Membership Manager, Cindy will be working diligently to support the Membership Team in fostering engagement, organizing impactful member events, building and nurturing relationships, and providing valuable technical assistance.
Her Background includes providing technical assistance, education, and impact to underserved communities and underrepresented small businesses. Cindy has been deeply committed to making a positive impact in the small business ecosystem through strategic initiatives and fostering economic growth. She is connected to various community stakeholders, government leaders and has built a robust network. In her previous role at Greater Southwest Development Corporation, she served as the Small Business Development Center Director for the IL SBDC Network. She also has a background and passion in affordable housing and real estate.
Cindy has 4 girls (ages 1-15) who keep her very busy at home. Any chance she can get to do my self-care, she takes it immediately! She enjoys listening to true crime, entrepreneurship, and beauty & fashion podcasts.
