Responsibilities
The Inside/Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service. This role will involve a combination of inside sales tasks, such as managing customer inquiries and developing quotes, as well as outside sales activities, including client visits, site assessments, and networking events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client needs are met with exceptional service.
- Site Assessments: Conduct on-site assessments to understand client requirements and determine the appropriate crane services needed. Provide clients with accurate and competitive quotes based on project specifications.
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present professional proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits of Royal Crane Service, Inc.’s offerings. Customize proposals based on client-specific needs and project requirements.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Coordinate with project managers to align sales efforts with project timelines and resource availability.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details in the company’s CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to management.
- Customer Support: Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Royal Crane Service, Inc. and build connections with potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the crane, construction, or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of crane services, rigging, and lifting solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
